Artist's Comments
The white sand dunes near Mui Ne, Vietnam. Same sand dunes as in the much less edited picture [link] . I think this picture is taken from the ridge you can see furthest to the right in the other picture.
Post-processing:
Cloned away some dust or dirt spots, adjusted the levels and set the it to multiply and added black and white layers set to overlay and multiply. Adjusted the saturation and sat the layer to screen. Reduced the noice and added a border.
Oh, but of course there is. Just over the other ridge somewhere it was like that, but we had already walked in the sand for like half an hour and it's heavy work walking in sand like that while it's blowing like hell, so I just edited it to look the same way as the picture I wanted to take
