The Geiranger fjord; Norway's most famous fjord and a UNESCO world heritage site.

A minute before this was taken it was completely white, and a minute after it was almost completely white again!

Picture taken from Ørnesvingen (the eagle turn), which I actually had almost completely to myself for some weird reason (a few hours earlier when I was going towards Geiranger I ended up at the turn together with 3 full tourist buses and some cars).

This is actually stitched together of 15 pictures (with a lot of overlapping...!) in portrait format taken with a wide-angle. So it's a lot wider than the average Geiranger photo

And yep, those tiny little ships down there to the left are actually big cruise ships

Post-processing
Adjusted all the pictures in camera raw, adjusted the wb a bit, turned up recovery a lot to make sure there was no overexposed areas.

Stitched the pictures together with automatic photomerge in photoshop.

Lightened and turned up the contrast with different curves layers. One for the trees on the hill in the foreground and one for the fjord. And darkened a tiny bit and turned up the contrast with a curves layer for the sky.

Cropped slightly to a 3:2 format.
