Taken at the amusement park Tusenfryd outside Oslo, Norway.
My mom got some free tickets from her job so I went there today (how can you not go when you get tickets for free ?) we took loads of pictures, and loads of rides (the queues goes by faster when you are taking pictures, but this one is not taken from a queue though ).
Post-processing Turned up exposure a tiny bit, up recovery and up fill light in camera raw.
Did some different edits on the sky and the roller coaster (I know I maybe could have done the masking a tiny bit better, but masking pictures like this perfectly is an awful lot of work, and not especially funny).
The sky: Turned up the contrast with a black and white layer set to overlay (100%), darkened with a black and white layer set to multiply (100%). And gave the sky a more green/yellowish/blue colour by adjusting the colour channels with curves (turned down the red and blue channel a bit).
The roller coaster: Lightened pretty much and turned up the contrast with two curves layers.
Yeah, the masking is dragging this picture down. Could be really cool but those edges are too obvious. Use one the 40 other ways to mask in Photoshop and see if it helps. I would use Color Range to mask or just use an adjustment layer and pinpoint the color of the sky and do the inverse for everything else. Should come out with softer edges if nothing else.

Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
