Fullview highly recommended. The thumb doesn't give the panorama any justice
Infrared panorama view of the valley Valldal on the west coast of Norway. Stitched together of 12 IR pictures all with a shutter speed of 30" (luckily the clouds didn't move too much, so it was actually possible to stitch the pictures together). All my other panoramas from Valldal can be found here. The clouds are casting shadows, so the lighter areas on the mountain sides are where the sun shines through Post-processing: Fixed the white balance and the contrast a bit on all the pictures with adobe camera raw. Stitched them together with photomerge in photoshop. Switched the red and blue channel in channel mixer, adjusted the curves, one curves layer only for the valley. Added a black and white layer set to soft light (90%) and a black and white layer, only on the sky, set to hard light (50%). Cropped the picture a bit and sharpened. |

Fantastic scenery, and fantastic photography. I need to go back to Norway...

Wonderful, I usually like the white conversion of the trees but this is nice too. Great that you finally got an IR of it too
