A panorama of the valley Valldal, on the west coast of Norway. Taken during the christmas holiday.
It's fascinating how panoramas can completely change the perspective (or something...) of a scene (you probably wont see it as I guess you don't know how it really looks like there) The rest of my Valldal panoramas can be found here. Post-processing: Stitched 15 pictures together with the photomerge in adobe cs3 after adjusting the wb, turning up the exposure and adding some more contrast to all the pictures in camera raw. Turned up the contrast with curves with two different layers. One for the foreground and mountains, and one for the sky. Added a black and white layer set to soft light (40%) on the whole picture and one set to hard light (35%) on the sky only. Cropped the picture a bit. |

PS. Does west coast of Norway has anything in common with us west coast? Gangstas, rap and lowriders?
Just kiding but when I hear phrase west coast I see in front of my eyes snoop dogg's video

The Norwegian west coast is more like isolated farms, valleys, mountains and fjords, and people with "weird" dialects
