Post-processing:
Lightened and turned up the contrast a bit in camera raw. Adjusted the curves to make some more contrast, and also adjusted the color channels in curves to turn down the redness of the skin a bit. Added some more curves layers, one only for the eyes, one for the face, and one for the a bit overexposed part of her sweater.
Added a black and white layer set to overlay (70%) with a bit less opacity on her face. Added another black and white layer set to overlay (60%) only on her sweater.
Sharpened a bit.
